About pricing and in-app purchases
The app itself is free, and all core gameplay — three AI difficulty tiers, local two-player hot seat, stats, achievements, theme switching, is completely free. If you want to remove the small bottom ads, you can make a one-time purchase called "Remove Ads" (not a subscription, no recurring charges). All 8 board themes and all 8 piece styles come with the app at no extra cost; "Remove Ads" is the only in-app purchase.
